Following the launch of the website for the second edition of our Supplementary Education Support Scheme, the Ijaw Youth Council, Gbaramatu Clan, is greatly impressed by the enthusiastic response from our students.
The Council can confirm that over 200 students completed registration within the first 24 hours, and approximately 50 applications are currently under review, which is more than 50% for this year’s threshold.
So, in line with our modus operandi and to ensure a smooth and effective registration process for all applicants, Council will hold a mandatory in-person engagement session with all registered and interested applicants on:
Date: Saturday, 24th January 2026
Time: 10:00 AM
Venue: EGCDF, Along Airport Road (Opposite Union Bank), Warri.
This session aims to provide a preparatory briefing on the scheme, offer guidance on selecting institutions and courses, review the necessary documentation, and address any questions from prospective applicants.
Given the above-mentioned, your attendance is essential and the Council is looking forward to a productive engagement.
